The most important event in France regarding animes, mangas, video games, etc… is probably the Japan Expo (JE). To tell you the truth I did not plan to go there because I had to worry about other stuffs and I finally got a ticket the day when it started =)
L’évènement en japanimation, mangas et jeux vidéos le plus important en France est probablement la Japan Expo (la JE pour les intimes). Je n’avais au départ pas prévu d’y aller car j’avais d’autres préocuppations, mais j’ai finalement récupéré un ticket juste avant l’ouverture.

I went on Friday July 3rd. Here are some some pics that I took.
J’y suis allé le vendredi 3 juillet. Voici quelques photos que j’ai prises.

First pic: the train… I took this photo ’cause I was getting bored while waiting for the train T_T

Then of course… I had to stand in the queue. Everybody looked like so glad to wait with the hot temperatures (please stop the global warming !!!). Gosh this is really the worse. I remind you I took a pic of a train while waiting for it. I just could some because I was getting bored too. I had to blur all the faces with picture editing.
Ensuite, il y a eu le pire moment de la journée : la file d’attente sous une chaleur dû aux dérèglements climatiques (arrêtez de manger de la viande !!!) o.O évidemment des photos puisque j’me suis fait encore plus chier que quand j’attendais le train. J’ai aussi rendu flous les visages.

I wish there were such signs at the bus stop.
J’aimerais bien qu’il y ait de telles publicités sur les abri-bus.

Ki-oon had really big signs o.O there were also one for Code Geass. There were big stuff everywhere in fact.

There were a stand with keitais ^.^ it showed several uses : it was the opportunity to dream of what we will never have in France >_< anyway I was able to play with =3
Il y avait un stand avec des keitais. C’étais l’occasion de rêver de ce qu’on n’aura jamais en France.

There were also Japanese cars… I was really surprised And there were my favorite car from Gran Turismo: Nissan Skyline \o/
Bon, j’ai été aussi choqué, j’ai vu un espace auquel je ne m’attendais pas du tout : du tuning de voiture o.O ah il y a une Nissan Skyline, c’est bon alors

More classically, there were several passionate people who showed what they do.
Plus classiquement, beaucoup de passionnés présentaient leur réalisations.

I also saw a part of a conference with Dai SATO (Cowboy Bebop, GITS SA, Samurai Champloo, etc…) and Daiseke NISHIJIMA (dealing with his manga Diên Biên Phu).

This event wouldn’t have the same taste without cosplaying !
